# Main application areas

When the application is launched, the main user interface appears on the screen. The application screen is divided into:

  • (1) on the left side, the Document outline, containing information about the dimensions of the objects (roof, elevation), the dimension specification and the quotation
  • (2) Main window, containing the content of the currently selected element of the document outline (roofing drawings, dimension lists and offer content)
  • (3) right side Property inspector - for setting additional properties and parameters
  • (4) at the top, an Action List containing a number of buttons and parameters which allow you to build the document. The list consists of 3 main tabs, an additional contextual tab that appears when a product is selected and allows its parameterisation, and a start tab


# The Startup tab

  1. account - options to manage your account are grouped together on the page.

To log in to the desktop application, you need to enter your username and password. The user in question is https://rsdachy.pl . Once logged in, the desktop application will be given access to your account. The user credentials will be stored in the application until the token expires or the user logs out, this means that the application will not require the password for some time

  • The link Change password takes you to a page allowing you to change your password.
  • Order Subscription allows you to place an order to renew or purchase a new subscription.
  • Settings is a link to the account settings page.
  • The Company Settings for the main user (administrator) option allows you to make global settings for your organisation.
  • Contact opens the page with the contact form
  • Help opens the page for this documentation
  • Logout button logs out the user
  • The Active subscriptions section lists the current subscriptions assigned to the user

# Tab File

# File group

  • New offer - closes the current document (if not saved the user will be prompted to save the document) and creates a new offer document
  • Open offer - displays the user's offer window and allows the offer to be selected for reading. Offers window
  • Save file - saves the current dokuemnt. If a name is not specified, a pop-up appears on the screen with the option to enter the name of the offer by which the document will be saved. In addition to the document name, the user has the option to enter additional notes for the document and to share the offer with another user in the organisation Sharing offers
  • Document Metrics - the document metrics window allows the user to set the expiry date of the offer, the status of the offer and to share the document with other company users. Read more about the Document metrics option.

# Printable sections

Here you can enable or disable individual print sections. Selectable sections are:

  • Drawing 2D - top view of the roof, section only available if the roof has been generated from the roof wizard or library (the slopes are connected to each other) or the slopes have been manually combined into a roof.
  • Offer - section with a price offer. Each item on the offer represents one line on the printout. The number of columns on the printout can be set in Company settings
  • Dimension list - section with dimensional specifications of the products
  • Installation drawings - section with drawings of the location of the sheets on the slopes, this section is not available in the free open version. There are 2 versions of the drawings "A3 horizontal" and "A4 horizontal". The A3 version is recommended for large objects and when the quotation is sent electronically in PDF format. Drawings in this format are more legible.
  • Print sheet drawings - when this option is activated, the covering sheets are printed on the assembly drawings.

# Print version group

Here you specify the version of the "Offer" printout section. Each version differs in terms of detail. The number of columns in each version can be changed in Company settings

  • Complete offer all possible offer columns
  • Offer without VAT no net/gross price breakdown
  • Only offer value in summary - only the total offer value is printed, no listing of individual offer line values
  • Offer without prices - quantitative offer
  • Without rebate column - offer without rebate column

# Print group

The group contains the Print action, which generates a preview of the offer based on the settings for the Sections for print and Version to print groups. Selecting the action expands the section with print variants.
