# Installation of the desktop application for the roof builder

The desktop application extends the capabilities of the RS Dachy5 software. The application allows you to draw the dimensions of an object (roof, façade) by entering the coordinates of the vertices of the figures that make up the roof. This makes it possible to calculate the material requirements for any roof, even the most complex ones.

# Requirements

• Windows operating system currently supported by the vendor, Microsoft (Windows 10/Windows 11)
• Installed .NET Framework version 4.6 or higher
• Graphics card with a minimum resolution of 1360x768 (Full HD 1920x1080 recommended)
• System administrator requirements not required

# Downloading and installing the software

After selecting the Download Windows software , the browser will start downloading the installation version of RSD5_Desktop-setup.exe. When the download is complete, run the downloaded installation software (found in the folder Downloaded). The installation does not require administrative rights to your computer. The installation will run automatically, after a few tens of seconds the process will end and the program will start automatically. A new icon will also appear on your desktop to launch the programme RSD5.Desktop.

# Login

After starting the programme, the user will be asked to log in. Use the email address and password currently used when logging in at www.rsdachy.pl.

# Updates

Each time the programme is started, the programme checks for the availability of updates. If a new version is available, the software is downloaded automatically and installed.
