# Product baskets

Product baskets are a functionality that allows you to create any number of baskets and associate specific products with them. The benefits to the user of grouping products into baskets include the ability to add all the products in a basket to an offer. For example:

  • we can define a basket under the name "Set of chimney flashings",
  • associate all necessary products with this basket
  • when creating an offer, add the entire basket "Complete chimney flashing" to the offer.

# Creating baskets

The creation of baskets is carried out in the Company settings option. Only the main user has access to this option.

  • In the company settings option, go to the Product baskets section.

  • then using the New item button (1) add a new item to the table, (2) give the basket a name, optionally the order of display and then confirm the changes using the icon (3)

    Baskets defined in this way are assignable for products.

# Product basket allocation

The defined baskets must then be allocated to the selected products.

  • To do this, you need to open the product definition RS Roofs 5 / Products.
  • Find the product, select Actions / Edit.
  • in the Productbasket field, allocate the correct basket(s) (1).
  • save your changes (2)

# Adding a basket to an offer when creating a quote

Add the entire basket of products to the quotation:

  • in the document inspector, select offer lines (1)
  • use the orange plus icon to select the product window (2)
  • go to the Product basket tab (1)
  • select basket (2)
  • select all the products on the list (3)
  • enter default quantity 1 (4)
  • select the OK button (5)
